How to take screenshot of a selected area in Windows 10!







    Windows is the most used operating system in PCs since a long time. The latest Windows 10 is much more refreshing than its other versions. Taking screenshots now a day became very useful to share a piece of information in a quick way. Windows 10 comes with a dedicated key combination as others operating systems to snap a screenshot of entire window, which is Windows key / Smart key + PrntScr. But there is an another application comes with Windows 10 version 1607 and later and also available in Microsoft Store to download, which enables customized screenshot ability called Snip & Sketch. This article describes free form screen capturing using Snip & Sketch application on Windows 10.


About Snip & Sketch -

To snap a screenshot using Snip & Sketch press key combination below -

Windows key / Start button + Shift + S

This will open a selector tool to select the desired area which screenshot is required. Drag from the starting area to end and it will take screenshot. It will automatically save the screenshot to clipboard and can be saved manually or automatically to the hard disk  memory. all the settings can be customised according to users need.
