How to Install Brasero Disc Burner in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Focal Fossa!
Brasero is a free and open source light weight disk burning application software for Linux and Unix-like systems. It seems to be very useful for disk burning related activities in Ubuntu operating system. It was developed by Philippe Rouquier & Luis Medinas and released under GNU General Public License.
Here, in this article, we are going to discuss about the installation process of Brasero in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. It can be installed both the ways via command line and Ubuntu Software.
Install Brasero via Command line -
Step - 1 : Launch the terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T simultaneously.
Step - 2 : Login as superuser
sudo su
and enter system password
Step - 2 : Update the system
sudo apt-get update
Step - 3 : Upgrade the system
sudo apt-get upgrade
It will ask for using disk space, enter y and press Enter.
Step - 4 : Install Brasero
sudo apt-get install brasero
It will ask for using disk space enter y and press Enter.
It will install the brasero disk burner application in the system.
Install Brasero via Ubuntu Software -
Step - 1 : Launch the Ubuntu Software from menu / app drawer.
Step - 2 : In the search bar of the Ubuntu Software type Brasero, it will search and list the application.
Step - 3 : Click on the application and then click on Install button.
