How to sideload previously downloaded Windows Applications using Wine on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS....
Ubuntu users sometimes wanted to run windows applications containing the file extension .exe on Ubuntu operating system to fulfill their need. But the Ubuntu OS uses .deb files. This article is about how to run or sideload those .exe windows application on Ubuntu using wine windows program loader.
Step - 1 : Download the windows application (.exe) from the Internet.
If already downloaded then head to the .exe file via file manager.
Step - 2 : Right click on the application and click on Open With Wine Windows Program Loader.
It will run the Installer.
Step - 3 : Select language that available and click on OK
Step - 4 : Click on Next > button

Step - 5 : Click on I Agree to accept License Agreement for the application
Step - 6 : Check the components and click on Next button
Step - 7 : Select Destination folder. If ok with the default one then click on Install button
It will install the application on Ubuntu.
Step - 8 : Click on Close Button to close the set up wizard.
Step - 9 : Launch the Application
This way anyone can run the windows applications or .exe programs on Ubuntu via Wine.
