installed on latest Ubuntu 20.10 (Groovy Gorilla) operating system.
Detailed process of adding Avro Phonetic on Ubuntu 20.10 described
below -
Step - 1 : Launch 'Ubuntu Software' from the Application Menu.
Step -2 : In the search box, type 'Avro Phonetic'
Step - 3 : Choose 'Avro Phonetic' and click on 'Install'
Step - 4 : It will ask for Password (If enabled). Enter the password and Authenticate.
Step - 6 : Log out from the current session to take effects.
Step - 7 : Log in again and open settings window from application menu
Step - 8 : Head to the 'Region & Language' tab
Step - 9 : Click on the ' + ' icon to add input source
It will open a window listed some input sources.
Step - 10 : Scroll down and click on 'Other'
Step -11: Scroll down and select 'Bangla (Avro Phonetic)' and then click on 'Add'
Now, Close all the open window and enjoy bengali typing using Avro on Ubuntu 20.10 (Groovy Gorilla).
Note : Use Windows + Space bar / Super + Space bar for toggle between language inputs or key boards.
